1944 WEEDONE Weed Killer Brochure & PA Co-Op Extension Petal Fall Spray Letter

Here is a 1944 brochure on WEEDONE The New Weed Killer made by the American Chemical Paint Company and was distributed by W. C. Fleck & Bro., Inc of 309 York Road in Jenkintown, PA.  Along with this brochure is a letter from the Co-Operative Extension Work in Agriculture and Home Economics State of Pennsylvania, dated May 10, 1944 from Doylestown, PA on the subject of Apple Spray Information Letter No. 4 Petal Fall Spray.   Tells what to spray and when to spray, list the materials you need, spraying methods, insect and disease conditions.  Signed by Wm. F. Greenawalt, County Agent.  Looks more like a stamp than his signature, but I could be wrong.  The WEEDONE brochure says that it kills right out to the root tips.  It tells what WEEDONE is, what weeds it kills, what effect rain has on it, when to spray, pressure, repeat applications, directions, use in large areas and a warning.  Also gives a list of WEEDONE advantages and has a step by step pictures of it as it kills poison ivy.  There is also a Dosage Equivalent on the back.  There are some bent corners and rough edges, but the brochure and letter are still readable and in pretty good shape for their age.  The letter had been folded to fit into an envelope, the envelope is no longer with the letter.  Postage will be FREE to the U.
