    Description

    Offered are these two antique handwritten invoices on business letterhead from Rome, Georgia.  The first one is from A. Carnochan, "Manufacturer of and Dealer in Harness, Saddles, Bridles, Blankets, Fly Nets, Saddlery Hardware, &c.", dated July 1, 1880. The back has some handwritten receipt information. The second one is from Dr. T. E. Lindsey, "successor to J. D'Darcy Professional Horseshoeing Shop", dated 9-13-1911. The back is blank.
    The Carnochan piece is approx. 8 1/2" x 7". It is in very good condition, with no holes or tears. There are creases where it has been folded and some light soiling. The Lindsey/D'Darcy piece is approx. 8 1/2" x 4 7/8". It is in good condition, with some wear and small holes around the edges. There are creases where it has been folded and some light soiling.
