    Description

The description on this postcard reads as follows:  "On April 15, 1988, Highway Post Office service was once again in operation.  HPO No. 1 retraced the original route taken by the first HPO on February 10, 1941, between Harrisonburg, Virginia and Washington, D.C.  HPO No. 1 is viewed here between Lacey Spring and New Market, Virginia while on its 146 mile route".   Please notice the black stamp indicating "SUMMERFEST 93 STATION CELEBRATING THE OPENING OF THE NATIONAL POSTAL MUSEUM JULY 30, 1993
ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA 22202".   Also you may notice the postage stamp shows Hank Williams Sr.  Thanks for looking.
