Oakes Manufacturing Co. Tipton Ind. Glass Advertising Dish

Description

Here is a glass dish advertising for Oakes Manufacturing Co., Inc., Tipton, Indiana.  It is clear pink glass.  It is embossed "OAKES MFG. CO., INC., TIPTON, IND."  Oakes provided agricultural items for customers who raised chickens.  This may have been a part of a chicken feeder or waterer.  It is 5 1/2 inches wide and about 1 1/4 inch tall.  See photos.  16AG17
