Rare Vintage Alaska Airlines Seahawk1 Model 1:100 Scale Pacmin Topping

The Seattle Seahawks NFL team contracted with Alaska Airlines to flythe team to away games during the early 1980’s and this modeldemonstrates the livery Alaska Airlines used for this charter. Thismodel is one piece, made of resin, and the fuselage is hallow. Themodel has been in a display case the entire 15 years I have owned it.Fuselage measures 18 inches, wingspan measures 13 inches. It ismounted on a wood stand with a manufacturer label for a companycalled WINGS in Issaquah Washington. I have not been able to verifyWINGS, I can only say that I have owned this model for 15 years andthis is the stand it came with. The model itself is in very goodcondition. I think the livery is painted and has no interruptions,looks great. The radome on the model shows signs of repaint (seepicture). This existed when I got the model and I wanted to addressthis and make corrections. Pictures that I had found showed radomesthat were black and radomes that were white. I talked to a long timeAlaska Airlines employee who told me that he remembered that theyused both radomes. It depended on what was available when they neededto change the radome out for repair. So I made no changes. The standonly has one mounting peg, I have used a nail (slips into the hole,not nailed into the stand) to replace the missing peg and it hasworked fine. The fuselage has something rolling around inside it,might be an insert that was installed at the stand mounting holes.But this does not affect the display.
