Obverse:
Caraiman Peak in the Bucegi Mountains with the Commemorative Cross to the Romanian Heroes of World War I on top, the inscription “ROMANIA” in an arc, the coat of arms of Romania, the face value “10 LEI”, and the year of issue “2021”.
Reverse:
a composition reuniting national symbols of Japan: a traditional torii gate overlapping the image of Mount Fuji reflected in Lake Kawaguchi, the year of the anniversary “1921” and the circular inscription “100 DE ANI DE RELATII DIPLOMATICE INTRE ROMANIA SI JAPONIA”.
The coins will be housed separately in transparent plastic capsules and will be accompanied by leaflets featuring a presentation of the numismatic issue in Romanian, English and French. Each leaflet comes with a certificate of authenticity bearing the signatures of the Governor and the Chief Cashier of the National Bank of Romania.
